Email Data Set

Marketscan offers one of the largest Business to Business decision maker email data sets available in the UK of over 800,000 addresses. New addresses are added monthly and existing addresses updated on a continual cycle. Validation of each email address during the gathering process, through immediate electronic validation process, allows for re-checking of the email during the telephone call.

In addition to the email address, we can also provide the full business record such as the mailing address, telephone number, size and industry classification.

Permission Based Methodology

All addresses on the email file are collected through phone contact with the business concerned, during which we explain the nature of our email service and obtain details of relevant decision makers who are interested in receiving marketing emails together with their areas of responsibility. All collection has occurred during the last eighteen months, making it some of the freshest data around and we continue to contact businesses and where appropriate, revisit businesses previously contacted to take account of new email systems being installed and changes in contact names.

Upon collection of an email address we send through a notification email, informing the recipient that we have obtained their email address and that we intend to use it for delivering in relevant targeted offers from reputable third party organisations. It is at this point the client is offered the opportunity to opt-out of receiving any email communication through us.

However, if the recipient does not take this option the recipient may at any time still deregister from receiving further information from each sender by selecting the preference service link at the bottom of each email sent. If this is the case, the recipient’s details are placed in a suppression file to ensure they do not receive any further emails from that client.
